TPE-熱塑性彈性體是一種具有橡膠的高彈性，高強度，高回彈性的新型材料。TPE材質觸感柔軟，耐候性好，不含增塑劑，是一種環(huán)保無毒的材料，價格在2.5-5萬/噸之間，廣泛使用在與人體接觸的日用品中。
PVC-聚氯乙烯，是一種有毒的含氯樹脂。加工時添加了增塑劑，增塑劑的含量越大，材料越柔軟，廣泛的用于建材，人造皮革中，價格在0.8-1.2萬元/噸之間。聚氯乙烯塑料制品在較高溫度下，如50℃左右就會慢慢地分解出氯化氫氣體，這種氣體對人體有害。
TPE與PVC相比，更耐高溫和低溫、有更好的彈性，近年來環(huán)保呼聲越來越高，所以在很多領域節(jié)能環(huán)保的熱塑性彈性體TPE開始取代PVC。

PS modified by SBS can not only improve the impact resistance as much as rubber, but also the transparency is very good. Compared with SBR rubber and WRP rubber powder, SBS modified asphalt pavement is more soluble in asphalt. Therefore, although the price is more expensive, it is still widely used.
