聚對苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)是通用的工程塑料。
1 PBT的工藝特性
PBT具有明顯的熔點,熔點為225~235℃,是結(jié)晶型材料,結(jié)晶度可達40%。
PBT熔體的粘度受溫度的影響不如剪切應力那么大,因此,在注塑中,注射壓力對PBT熔體流動性影響是明顯。
PBT在熔融狀態(tài)下流動性好,粘度低,僅次于尼龍,在成型易發(fā)生“流延”現(xiàn)象。
PBT成型制品各向異性。PBT在高溫下遇水易降解。
2注塑機
選用螺桿式注塑機時。應考慮如下幾點。
①制品的用料量應控制在注塑機額定注射量的30%~80%。不宜用大注塑機生產(chǎn)小制品。
②應選用漸變型三段螺桿,長徑比為15~20,壓縮比為2.5~3.0。
③應選用自鎖式噴嘴,并帶有加熱控溫裝置。
④在成型阻燃級PBT時,注塑機的有關部件應經(jīng)防腐處理。
3制品與模具設計
①制品的厚度不宜太厚,PBT對缺口很敏感,因此,制品的直角等過渡處應采用圓弧連接。
②PBT的成型收縮率較大,在1.7%~2.3%,模具要有一定的脫模斜度。
③模具需要設排氣孔或排氣槽。
④澆口的口徑要大。
⑤模具需設置控溫裝置。模具溫度不能超過100℃。
⑥阻燃級PBT成型,模具表面要鍍鉻,以防腐。
4原料準備
注塑前要進行干燥、要將水分含量控制在0.02%以下。采用熱風循環(huán)干燥時,當溫度為105℃、120℃或140℃時,所對應的時間不超過8h、5h、3h。料層厚度低于30mm。
5注塑工藝參數(shù)
①注射溫度PBT的分解溫度為280℃,所以實際生產(chǎn)中一般控制在245~260℃之間。
②注射壓力注射壓力一般為50~100MPa。
③注射速率PBT冷卻速度快,因此要采用較快的注射速率。
PBT INJECTION PROCESS IN GERMANY: Before injection, PBT must be dried for 3 hours at 110 ~ 120 °c, the processing temperature is 250 ~ 270 °C, and the mold temperature is 50 ~ 75 °C. If the temperature of the nozzle is not controlled properly (on the low side) , the runner (nozzle) is easy to cool and solidify, and the nozzle will be stopped up. If the temperature of the feeding barrel exceeds 275 °C or the residence time of the molten material in the feeding barrel exceeds 30 minutes, the material will easily decompose and become brittle. When PBT is injected into plastic, it is necessary to use a large water inlet, not a hot runner system. The die should have a good exhaust, and should be bed under the conditions of "high-speed, medium-pressure and medium-temperature" . The fireproof material or the PBT water inlet with glass fiber should not be recycled, when the machine stops, it is necessary to use pe or PP material to clean the material pipe in time to avoid carbonization.
