系統(tǒng)里的每個軸采用雙閉環(huán)控制算法來提高減速機(jī)后端關(guān)節(jié)末端位置的定位精度。
增量式編碼器和Hall元件作為速度環(huán)反饋置于減速箱前端，19位高分辨率絕對值編碼器作為負(fù)載末端位置反饋，這樣的用法只是Elmo金線系列驅(qū)動器的一個標(biāo)準(zhǔn)用法。
雙閉環(huán)控制算法可以提升伺服電機(jī)性能達(dá)到最優(yōu)狀態(tài)。
Elmo提供PCB插針安裝式驅(qū)動器，也可以同時配套提供接口轉(zhuǎn)接板，這允許客戶通過轉(zhuǎn)接板連接EtherCAT總線、IO和編碼器反饋。
白金版Maestro,終極多軸運動控制器
控制整個系統(tǒng)的是Elmo高級的多軸運動控制器P-MAS,通過實時串行EtherCAT總線在250us內(nèi)同步16個軸(最短可現(xiàn)實100us內(nèi)同步8個軸)。
Elmo的高級多軸運動控制器P-MAS可以提供內(nèi)容豐富的機(jī)器人運動學(xué)功能，例如Cartesian, SCARA,3-Link,Delta等等，使用這些功能就可以很容易應(yīng)對機(jī)器人應(yīng)用的挑戰(zhàn)。
內(nèi)置的運動學(xué)功能支持MCS(機(jī)器坐標(biāo)系)和PCS(產(chǎn)品坐標(biāo)系)，在翻轉(zhuǎn)、傳送和其他外部裝置中可以實現(xiàn)完全同步。
此外，P-MAS為客戶應(yīng)用預(yù)留了一個實時內(nèi)核。這部分內(nèi)核允許機(jī)器人開發(fā)用戶編寫自己特殊的運動學(xué)轉(zhuǎn)換方程，這一功能使得P-MAS支持任何高端的機(jī)器人，幾乎不受類型限制，因為客戶可以針對應(yīng)用編寫自己的運動學(xué)功能。
對于這種在250us總線循環(huán)時間內(nèi)完成機(jī)器人運動學(xué)正逆解計算的應(yīng)用必須使用基于四核強(qiáng)大處理器的多軸運動控制器P-MAS。
運動學(xué)方程解算是在用戶實時應(yīng)用程中進(jìn)行的，計算系統(tǒng)中所有軸的目標(biāo)位置、目標(biāo)速度或扭矩并在每個EtherCAT總線周期輸出。
DS-402協(xié)議中的循環(huán)同步模式是Elmo的EtherCAT版本驅(qū)動器的內(nèi)置標(biāo)準(zhǔn)操作模式。
在P-MAS和上位主機(jī)、PLC或HMI之間多種標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和專門的通訊協(xié)議使得P-MAS與第三方設(shè)備通訊變得十分容易，如觸摸屏、手操板、PLC和PC機(jī)等。
與上位主機(jī)的通訊能力如Ethernet, TCP/IP和UDP協(xié)議，快速的二進(jìn)制協(xié)議如MODBUS和Ethernet/IP, 使得與上位主機(jī)之間的通訊變得快速而有效。
