How to connect a battery in Series?

Can I take a wheelchair, scooter or other equipment that is powered by a sealed AGM or Gel battery on a airplane or cruise ship?
Yes. There should be no problem, the battery is considered non-spillable, non-hazardous, since it is a absorbed glass mat design. These sealed lead acid valve regulated (VRLA) batteries are classified as "Battery, wet non-spillable, not subject to regulations" by DOT and IMO. By IATA they are classified as "Not restricted for air transport" and they are in compliance with IATA/ICAO special provision A67. For the gelled electrolyte batteries, they are classified as "Battery, wet, filled with acid, UN2794, Class 8". They can be legally shipped via air with special packaging etc.
How do I Jump Start my Battery using booster cables?
WARNING-BATTERIES PRODUCE EXPLOSIVE GASES. These instructions are designed to minimize the explosion hazard. Keep sparks, flames and cigarettes away from batteries at all times. Both batteries should be of the same voltage (6, 12, etc.).
SAFE BOOSTER CABLE OPERATION When jump starting, always wear proper eye protection and never lean over the battery. Do not jump start a damaged battery; inspect both batteries before connecting booster cables. Be sure vent caps are tight and level. 一、TⅠ或C級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心的配置
TⅠ或C級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心的供電系統(tǒng)配置如下圖1所示,具有單一的供電路徑。盡管可能有N臺(tái)UPS或者N臺(tái)發(fā)電機(jī)并聯(lián)運(yùn)行,但是在這些系統(tǒng)上的關(guān)鍵負(fù)荷的容量能達(dá)到單機(jī)容量N倍的100%。
從系統(tǒng)架構(gòu)看,系統(tǒng)有多個(gè)單一的故障點(diǎn)。無計(jì)劃的供電線路故障與和有計(jì)劃設(shè)備維護(hù)都可能導(dǎo)致系統(tǒng)供電的中斷,如年度預(yù)防性檢修和修理、緊急狀態(tài)下的頻繁地關(guān)閉設(shè)施或基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施組成器件的故障、操作錯(cuò)誤,都將引起數(shù)據(jù)中心運(yùn)營的中斷。

二、TⅡ或B級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心的配置
TⅡ或B級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心的供電系統(tǒng)配置如下圖2所示,與TⅠ或A級(jí)一樣,仍然具有單一的供電路徑。但是在UPS和發(fā)電機(jī)設(shè)備的配置上,實(shí)現(xiàn)了N+1的冗余配置。
從系統(tǒng)架構(gòu)看,系統(tǒng)仍然有多個(gè)單一的故障點(diǎn)。但無計(jì)劃的UPS設(shè)備故障或有計(jì)劃的UPS設(shè)備維護(hù)基本不會(huì)導(dǎo)致系統(tǒng)供電的中斷。相比C級(jí),增加了系統(tǒng)的可用性。

三、TⅢ或A級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心的配置
TⅢ或A級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心的供電系統(tǒng)配置如下圖3所示,與TⅠ、TⅡ或B、C級(jí)不同的是,具有兩條互為備份的供電路徑,平時(shí)一條工作一條備份。
對(duì)于動(dòng)力系統(tǒng)中的所有開關(guān)、線路或柜體,所有計(jì)劃性的部件與路徑的相關(guān)操作與維護(hù)活動(dòng)不會(huì)影響數(shù)據(jù)中心負(fù)載的正常運(yùn)行。所以,TⅢ級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心實(shí)現(xiàn)的是可并行維護(hù)的數(shù)據(jù)中心。
TⅢ數(shù)據(jù)中心的無UPS供電路徑盡管允許市電直接供電,但要求必須配置柴油發(fā)電機(jī)作為備用。
相比于B或C,從系統(tǒng)架構(gòu)看,已經(jīng)沒有單一的故障點(diǎn),但是對(duì)于無計(jì)劃的活動(dòng),例如設(shè)備基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的零部件,在運(yùn)行中或者自然的情況下發(fā)生故障,在維護(hù)時(shí)出現(xiàn)市電突發(fā)中斷等情況,還是會(huì)引起數(shù)據(jù)中心的運(yùn)行中斷系統(tǒng)。

四、TⅣ或A級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心的配置
TⅣ或A級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心的供電系統(tǒng)架構(gòu)及設(shè)備配置如下圖4所示,TⅣ級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心負(fù)載具有兩條互為熱備的供電路徑,平時(shí)每條路徑各承擔(dān)50%的負(fù)載;在一條路徑故障或計(jì)劃維護(hù)時(shí),全部負(fù)載切換到另一路,所以所有路徑中的設(shè)備容量都具備全額支持?jǐn)?shù)據(jù)中心負(fù)載的能力。
在TⅢ級(jí)的基礎(chǔ)上,TⅣ級(jí)的數(shù)據(jù)中心不僅具有能夠進(jìn)行任何有計(jì)劃的的維護(hù)活動(dòng)不會(huì)對(duì)關(guān)鍵的負(fù)荷造成中斷的能力,而且一次無計(jì)劃的故障、運(yùn)行錯(cuò)誤或者誤操作事件也將不影響關(guān)鍵的負(fù)荷。TⅣ級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心也要求全部計(jì)算機(jī)硬件具有雙電源輸入。所以相比TⅢ級(jí),TⅣ級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心的供電系統(tǒng)實(shí)現(xiàn)了從可并行維護(hù)到冗余容錯(cuò)的保障等級(jí)飛躍。
TⅣ級(jí)數(shù)據(jù)中心動(dòng)力鏈路中的UPS容量可以配置成2N,也可配置成2(N+1),在一個(gè)系統(tǒng)上涉及的關(guān)鍵的負(fù)荷不應(yīng)超過N的90%。
