止水帶是利用橡膠高彈性和壓縮變形性的特點(diǎn),在各種載荷下產(chǎn)生彈性變形,從而起到有效緊固密封,防止建筑漏水、滲水及減震緩沖作用。在一般較大工程的建筑設(shè)計(jì)中,由于不能連續(xù)澆注??捎捎诘鼗淖冃?,或由于溫度變化引起的混凝土構(gòu)件熱脹冷縮等原因,需留有施工縫、沉降縫、變形縫,在這些縫處必須安裝止水帶來防止水的滲漏問題。

橡膠止水帶在運(yùn)輸時(shí),應(yīng)要避免陽光直射,勿與熱源、油類及有害溶劑接觸。成品應(yīng)取直平放,勿加重壓。存放場所最好保持-10-+30,相對(duì)濕度40%-80%。
