橡膠止水帶和止水橡皮是以天然橡膠與各種合成橡膠為主要原料,摻加各種助劑及填充料,經(jīng)塑煉、混煉、壓制成型，其品種規(guī)格較多，有橋型、山型、P型、U型、Z型、乙型、T型、H型、E型、Q型等。根據(jù)使用情況又可分類為埋式橡膠止水帶和背貼式橡膠止水帶。該止水材料具有良好的彈性,耐磨性、耐老化性和抗撕裂性能,適應(yīng)變形能力強(qiáng)、防水性能好，溫度使用范圍為-45℃-+60℃.當(dāng)溫度超過70℃,以及橡膠止水帶受強(qiáng)烈的氧化作用或受油類等有機(jī)溶劑侵蝕時(shí)，均不得使用橡膠止水帶.

橡膠止水帶必需采取可靠的固定措施，綁扎鋼筋和支模時(shí)。防止在澆注混凝土?xí)r發(fā)生位移，保證止水帶在混凝土中的正確位置。

只能在止水帶的允許部位上穿孔打洞，對于固定止水帶時(shí)。不得損壞止水帶有效防水部位。

常用的固定方法有：利用附加鋼筋固定；專用卡具固定；用鉛絲和模板固定等。不論采用何種固定方法，對于止水帶的固定方法應(yīng)按設(shè)計(jì)要求的施工規(guī)范進(jìn)行且必需保證止水帶定位準(zhǔn)確，不損壞止水帶有效防水部位，方便混凝土澆搗。

按型號(hào)可分為：CB型橡膠止水帶（埋入式中間有孔型）；CP型橡膠止水帶（埋入式中間無孔型）；EB型橡膠止水帶（外貼式中間有孔型）；EP型橡膠止水帶（外貼式中間無孔型）。
