在止水帶是在混凝土澆注過程式中部分或全部澆埋在混凝土中,混凝土中有許多尖角的石子和銳利的鋼筋頭,由于塑料和橡膠的撕裂強度比拉伸強低3-5倍,止水帶一旦被刺破或撕裂時,不需很大外外力裂口就會擴大,所以在止水帶定位和混凝土澆搗過程中,應注意定位方法和澆搗壓力,以免止水帶被刺破,影響止水效果,具體注意事項如下:
