A choice of detectors designed to easily search for the contaminated material once an alarm is set off.
There have been multiple cases where contaminated scrap bl was unwillingly recycled into newly manufactured products. Beyond the radiological risks and potential consequences in health and economical losses along the supply chain, this type of event could have repercussions with nub safety authorities and possibly the media. The systematic detection of potential contamination in scrap bl therefore became an essential step for the recycling sector, as well as for the third parties processing the materials further down the recycling chain. To help monitor incoming materials that should not be processed, NUVIATech Instruments developed a modular set of cost-effective solutions to protect scrapyards operators, workers, equipment and processing sites.
