從此之后，大理寺正式變成負(fù)責(zé)復(fù)核案件、平反冤獄的司法機(jī)關(guān)。明代的「三法司會(huì)審」制度也進(jìn)一步完善：唐朝的御史臺(tái)變成了都察院，刑部、都察院主要負(fù)責(zé)初審案件，大理寺主要負(fù)責(zé)復(fù)審案件。十分重大復(fù)雜的案件，則在三法司的基礎(chǔ)上會(huì)同六部尚書與通政使司共同會(huì)審，謂之「圓審」，也稱「九卿會(huì)審」。s
