CP-9200SHSVA短路保護的常用方法是采用熔斷器或斷路器。這些保護裝置不應受起動電流的影響而誤動作。所以要按熔斷器、斷路器的選擇和整定要求進行。長期過載保護和斷相保護電動機長期超載運行，繞組溫升將超過其允許值，造成絕緣材料變脆、壽命縮短，嚴重時還會使電動機損壞。過載電流越大，達到允許溫升的時間就越短。常用的長期過載保護元件是熱繼電器。熱繼電器不能兼作短路保護，因為發(fā)生短路時，CP-9200SHSVA可能還來不及動作就已對電器設備造成損壞了。因斷相運行而燒壞電動機的臺數(shù)，在有些單位竟多達損壞電機總臺數(shù)的80%以上，所以電動機應該有斷相保護的環(huán)節(jié)，也就是說要選用帶斷相保護功能的熱繼電器。
