The Profibus DP slave protocol driver supports the implementation of PROFIBUS V0 slave and provides powerful data transmission capability between the module and the ControlLogix processor. User configurable data mapping and DP port operation make the interface an easy-to-use and powerful data transmission tool.
Mvi56 module configuration / debugging serial port connects the PC to the module for configuration, status, monitoring and troubleshooting (serial cable is shipped with the product). After editing on the PC, download the configuration file and store it on the mvi56 module.
PROFIBUS DP slave allows access to b and output images of units with b and output data of up to 122 words. The total b and output shall not exceed 200 words. These b and output data blocks are mapped by the user in the data memory of the module, so as to achieve maximum flexibility and data transmission with other protocols.
