Realization of automatic water supply for drum of frequency converter. We try to use the smelting information of converter to make up water. First of all, we connect vaporization PLC and converter PLC together through PLUS network, get smelting information through network vaporization, mainly get smelting start, smelting clock, tapping signal and so on. The principle of water supplement is as follows: Since the consumption of soft water in each furnace is basically the same under normal conditions, as a given value, and the artificial water supplement is carried out in the later period of smelting, we use automatic to simulate the control mode of artificial water supplement. At this point, the automatic start-up drum water supply electric valve starts to make up water. When the amount of water supply flow accumulates to a given value, the automatic shut-off electric valve makes up water for a furnace. When the tapping signal comes, the accumulated value of water supply is cleared up to zero, for the next batch. Of course, under abnormal circumstances, such as leakage of flue, can choose to manually fill the water or change the set value of the operation, so that the drum fill water convenient and flexible, completely solve the problem of automatic fill water drum. As the drum water supply is not continuous, often resulting in pressure, and pump and motor failure rate is high. With the wide application of AC frequency converter and the flexible software programming of PLC, it provides convenient conditions for automatic water supply of steam drum. We use two inverters, one working, one standby, alternating. A 2.5 m PA pressure transmitter is installed on the main pipe, its signal is processed by PLC, and then output control, setting two control points, namely upper limit and lower limit. When above the upper limit value, no water supply requirements, low-speed operation to achieve energy-saving purposes, when below the lower limit value, water supply requirements, high-speed operation of the inverter.
