Since the source and drain voltages of each transistor are approximately equal to the VCO control voltage, charge injection is the main source of charge interference. VC is in the suspended state, the jump phenomenon will make VC voltage discontinuous, become PLL loop noise source, resulting in the output frequency instability. Charge sharing is due to the fact that the up down signal is disconnected when the phase locked, the pull up tube voltage is pulled up to VDD, and the pull down tube is pulled down to Gnd , both of which are different from the output point voltage when both tubes are turned on simultaneously, a disturbance voltage is generated at the output point, which incorrectly raises or lowers the VCO control voltage, resulting in unstable pll operation.
