Office Depot公司成立于1986年，總部設在佛羅里達的Delray海灘。是世界上大的辦公用品銷售商之一，提供的服務滿足世界范圍的顧客的需要。Office Depot在零售、合約銷售、目錄銷售及電子商務等多種營銷渠道中均處于地位。Office Depot在紐約證券上市，列于標準普爾500指數(shù)。

2006年11月，世界500強公司之一的Office Depot在北京宣布,收購國內(nèi)大的B2B電子商務公司亞商在線。Office Depot公司董事長兼席執(zhí)行官斯蒂夫歐蘭表示，該公司對于亞洲經(jīng)濟發(fā)展非常重視，中國是全球經(jīng)濟發(fā)展快的地區(qū)之一，因此該公司在繼日本、韓國之后，選擇并購的方式進入中國市場。據(jù)了解，創(chuàng)立于1999年的亞商在線是中國目前大的辦公用品與辦公服務提供商之一，而Office Depot公司是世界大的電子商務零售商之一，網(wǎng)上年銷售額達38億美元。
