雪地行軍是樁危險的事，它極易使人患上雪盲癥以至迷失行進的方向。但人們感到奇怪，若僅僅是因為雪的反光太刺眼，為什么戴上墨鏡之后，雪盲癥仍不可避免呢？
最近美國陸軍的研究部門得出結(jié)論：導(dǎo)致雪盲癥的并非雪地的刺眼反光，而是它的空無一物?？茖W(xué)家說：人的眼睛其實總在不知疲倦地探索世界，從一個落點到另一個落點。要是連續(xù)收索而找不到任何一個落點，它就會因緊張而失明。
美國陸軍對付雪盲癥的辦法是，派先驅(qū)部隊搖落常青灌木上的雪。這樣，一望無垠的白雪中變出現(xiàn)了一叢叢、一簇簇的綠色景物，收索的目光便有了落點。
所有的眼睛都在收索世界，收索世界的眼睛不怕光怪陸離，卻怕空空一片。一個人如果收索不到友誼的落點，他很可能對所有的人充滿敵意；如果收索不到真誠的落點，他很可能會懷疑整個世界。
